Since 1980 the Edmonton Folk Music Festival has been growing and has evolved into one of the worlds largest folk music celebrations. The founders of the festival pride themselves in gathering the greatest talents of folk music and bringing them to Edmonton’s Gallagher Park the second week of August. This year’s festival is headlining Sarah McLachlan, Tracey Chatman, Steve Earle, Iron and Wine, Neko Case, Steven Page, along with many others on the main stage. Aside from the main stage there are six other stages that will be showcasing many talented folk musicians.
